Are you looking for the perfect gift for the car lover in your life? While there are several things you could get them such as a car picture, a new mug with their favourite car on it or a cool tee shirt with an awesome car on it. But aren’t these all things you have given this person before? For people who love a certain thing the options for gift giving begin to dwindle quickly as the holidays pass by year after year. A person can only have so many pictures, so many new coffee mugs and so many different shirts before the idea of gift giving really becomes a stressful thing instead of a joy. If you are at this point then there is one gift you might not have thought of, a branded model car.

With a printed model car you can not only choose the kind of car you want to purchase but you can also chose the colour of the car and the details that will go on it. These promotional model cars can then also be personalised with the gift recipients name on the hood, trunk or down the side of the car. That will make this particular promotional gift one that is so much more personal and enjoyable.

So what occasions are the best for giving a branded model car? Just about any occasion will be appropriate for giving the gift of a promotional model car. Ideally you want to give you gift to a person who is old enough to be responsible for the care of the branded model cars. These gifts are not really toys to be played with rather they are items to be admired.

If you have a child who is turning 16 years old and getting his or her license then a branded model car would be a great gift for their sweet 16. You could also give this branded model car to a child who is turning 18 years old and heading into adulthood. Giving the gift of a special branded model car can end up being the highlight of a very special birthday.

A branded model car is also a great gift to give to someone who is retiring. Many people who have a passion for cars will begin to develop that passion even more after they retire. Giving them the gift of a printed model car would be a great farewell present. Don’t forget to personalise it with a “Happy Retirement” along with the date so they can always remember when they received this very special gift.

As you can see there is no set holiday or occasion where you can or cannot give the gift of a printed model car. Just make sure to think long and hard about the perfect model along with the perfect colour since you will have so many different models and colours to choose from this will be the hard part. Picking out a great message to personalise the model cars with will be the easy part.

Do you think that Nissan vehicles sport around an exterior that does not just quite get your attention?

Well, not anymore. You see, the Nissan Motor Corporation’s North American division, Nissan North America, Inc. or NNA, has just went into a partnership with Marc Ecko. So now you ask who is Marc Ecko? Let us just say that Marc Ecko is the a creator of design in the industry of lifestyle and fashion. These two are now joining forces so as to give Nissan vehicles a whole new look. And what could be more interesting than the interaction and combination of design from the auto world as well as that of the fashion industry.

Jan Thompson is the vice president of marketing for the NNA and Thompson exclaims, “Both the Nissan Pathfinder and Nissan Armada are known for their power, style and energy which is also characteristic of Marc Ecko’s creative artistry and compelling vision. His design will bring together two great brands that already have an established relationship with street culture, making it a natural and ideal fit.” However, if you are thinking that this kind of merge of design is not your thing, do not worry for there would still be the very same type of Nissan design in several of the company’s vehicles. Plus, auto parts Nissan would come as they are – simple yet quality made.

So what would be the first two vehicles to receive a makeover? According to the company, Ecko would be giving his best to give two of Nissan’s vehicles a whole new look. Modifications would be done by the designer on the Nissan Pathfinder as well as the Nissan Armada. Both of these vehicles are popular sport utility vehicles in the Nissan range. Sure enough, Ecko promises to give these sporty vehicles a hip and new design, just like those products that his company offers the market. He even assesses, “Side by side, these two vehicles share a design heritage, yet each ahs its own distinct character. My goal is to take that character to the next level and to express the vehicles’ individuality through bold, original design and superior execution.”

Top 5 Classic James Bond Cars

24

2009
00:00

The latest Bond car for the film “Quantum of Solace” is the Aston Martin DBS. Low-profile 20inch car tyres, smooth lines and curves, flared wheel arches and an overstated front grill; it is the epitomy of British cool with which to save the world.

The Aston Martin’s 6.0-litre V12 engine has a distinctive throaty roar that is capable of 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 191mph.

This has to rate as one of Bond’s best looking cars but to compare I have compiled a list of 5 other classic Bond cars:

1) Recently voted the most iconic car of all time, the Aston Martin DB5 appeared in ’Thunderball’, ’Goldfinger’ and more recently ’Casino Royal’.

It was originally introduced in 1963. Its film debut was in the 1964 Goldfinger, starring alongside Sean Connery. Its distinctive silver livery, streamlined bodywork and large front grill was new for its time.

However the aesthetically pleasing body hid a vast array of lethal surprises to confound even the most troublesome of Bond’s enemies. You may remember a scene in Goldfinger where one rear brake light spurted oil onto the road. And the other released triple-spiked nails to burst the car tyres of the pursuing villains.

Other clever features devised by Q included a revolving licence plate, an exhaust that expelled smoke-screen canisters and wheel hubs that revealed knives to slash car tyres.

2) The white Lotus Elite used by Roger Moore in 1977 ’The Spy Who Loved Me’ surprised everyone with its ability to be driven underwater.

In an attempt to escape a pursuing helicopter the Lotus was driven off a pier into the sea. At the time you would have thought this was the end for the car. But with typical Bond creativity the car tyres retract and it was transformed into an operational submarine, complete with fins and a periscope. The persistent helicopter soon meets its demise with a missile fired from the car beneath the water.

3) The 1987 film ’The Living Daylights’ saw a return to the Aston Martin. This Aston Martin V8 had a powerful engine to compliment its macho looks. It used a fuel injection system that replaced carburetion. Due to the compact nature of this new technology the car could be designed with a flat bonnet, unlike the curved bonnets of its predecessors.

As with any Bond car there were a number of clever additions including self retractable spikes in the car tyres for extra grip on icy surfaces, lasers behind the front hubcaps and missile launchers behind the headlights.

4) It was bold move not to use a British manufactured car in the 1999 ’The World Is Not Enough’ but BMW Z8 soon won over the Bond fan. Its retro styling and red leather interior was backed up by a 400-horsepower V8 engine that had a top speed of 158mph.

Hidden accessories included missile launchers in the side vents and a windscreen that displayed important data. The car could be operated remotely using the key chain.

5) The Aston Martin was back in the 2002 ’Die Another Day’ starring Pierce Brosnan. This time it was the V12 Vanquish, sometimes referred to as ’a DB9 on steroids’.

The classic styled V12 nearly met its match when confronted with the villain’s Jaguar XKR. But the front mounted Gatling gun, rocket launchers in the doors and bombs in the boot soon put paid to that.

Two other clever features, which eventually won the battle for Bond, were the car’s ability to become invisible and the spikes hidden in the car tyres. The latter helped the car drive up an ice wall to avoid the fast approaching enemy, causing the Jaguar to have a unceremonious demise at the bottom of a lake.

As wonderful as the Bond cars are, thankfully features like spikes in car tyres have not become common place on our modern vehicles. If they ever do be sure to consult a specialist before changing a punctured car tyre.

Safety Considerations When Purchasing Fast Cars

24
08

2009
00:00

According to studies, fast cars are more often involved in road accidents compared to other types of cars. People who drive their fast cars almost to the limits sometimes lose control of their cars that they end up either skidding off the road, get into collision with other vehicles and other forms road accidents. However, the good news is that although fast cars are often involved in road accidents, these incidents are not really much related to the technical defects or the overall set-up of the vehicle itself.

Experts believe that fast cars are actually built to perform well on the road but the driving skills of the people behind the wheels may not be at par with the power of the fast car. In most cases, the drivers of fast cars overestimate their driving skills and end up losing control of their cars. Since accidents do happen, it is therefore very important to drive carefully and never abuse the power of your fast car. Furthermore, before you do buy cars, you should check out the safety features of the car thoroughly.

Safety Features That You Should Look For In Fast Cars

The first thing that you need to check when buying fast cars is the safety features. Your car should have antilock braking systems (ABS). The ABS will allow you to stop your car fast. Good ABS will help you deal with certain tight situations on the road. During panic stops, the ABS will allow you to steer you car and prevent any untoward incidents. To learn more about the ABS of fast cars, ask your car dealer to explain to you in details how this feature works. You may also ask the car dealer to demonstrate how the ABS works so that you will have a concrete idea of how your car will perform in tight situations.

Aside from the ABS, you should take a closer look into the traction control of the fast car. This feature will help prevent traction loss while your car is speeding. This feature can be very helpful especially during extreme weathers and when you are driving at top speed in some winding road. Combined with the ABS, the traction control will help you keep your car stable on the road even during bad weathers.

However, since this feature do have its own limitations, driving slowly and carefully during extreme weather conditions is still very much advisable. Never for one moment think that because your car have good safety features, you can still drive fast even during extreme weather conditions.

On the other hand, since accidents do happen, it always pays to check the airbag features of the fast car before you buy it. Look for airbags at the front and side of the car. Knee airbags are also very important.

Unforgettable Television Sports Cars From The 1970s

2009
00:00

In the seventies it seems that most shows were to an extent, known for the cars that the stars drove in them as well as the stars themselves. Some of the shows you will find listed here, the cars in the shows were even known to receive their own fan mail. The weekly hero of the action packed T.V. show was almost assuredly driving a fast and expensive sports car. Most people tend to think they used the same car in every episode but usually there was a whole team of identical cars that followed the stars through the series.

See how many of the following cars you can remember from the seventies:

1. Gran Torino on Starsky and Hutch.

This was everyone’s favorite Muscle Car it seemed, at least the most recognizable.
The paint job (red with that big, white stripe) and the style prompted Ford to add it to their line. Gran Torino enthusiasts still get together to show off their rides to this day!

2. Do you remember Dan Tanna and his 1957 Thunderbird from Vegas?

In this program Robert Urich played a cop in Las Vegas named Dan Tanna who just loved cruising around the strip in his T-Bird. It was a bright and shiny red and was actually two identical cars used that they switched back and forth when taping the show. The character started out with a corvette but ended up with his signature T-Bird instead

3. Who can forget that bumbling detective Columbo and his beat up, old Peugeot? Well it can be categorized as a sports car technically, but it sure didn’t look like one or act like one. But Columbo and his Peugeot was a match made in heaven with their unkempt appearance. Some folks in Ohio ended up with the car after the show was cancelled but they revived it for the Columbo movie in the 80’s.

4. The golden Firebird Espirit of Detective Rockford is another classic. James Garner played Detective Rockford and always seemed to be having financial troubles but he could always afford to drive around in his signature Firebird.

5. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado from Mannix. Another one of those great detective shows. Joe Mannix was played by actor Mike Connors and it was a very customized vehicle indeed and one that most people remember. Mannix had secret compartments all over the Toronado and it was a little more high tech then many cars of its era. In later episodes Mannix had an array of cars at his disposal but the 1966 Toronado seem to make the most impact.

Each one of these cars is memorialized by film. If you asked anyone about the 70’s famous cars undoubtedly they would mention one or more of these cars. Of course there were a lot of others but these five seem to be the most likely to come up in a conversation about the era. After all they certainly did seem to steal the show right out from under the human stars.

Where To Find Cheap Classic Cars

18

00:00

In a world where many people enjoy collecting old cars and turning them into masterpieces it’s evident that there must be some resources for finding these cars cheap. Now most places you’d ideally look will have prices much closer to market value, but when you’re buying a classic car to fix up you want to find the best possible deal out there. There are a few places where you can do this now and I’m going to list a couple of them for you.

The Internet

The internet has many websites available now to car enthusiasts looking to buy classic cars and to if you’re looking for a cheap classic car to fix up then online classifieds and online auctions are goldmines. Many people list their old vehicles there either because they don’t know the value or they just don’t want the vehicle anymore. Either way it’s perfect for you because you’ll be able to get the car you need for a reasonably cheap price. Many people often need fast cash so they will post their classic car onto an auction site in hopes of finding a buyer to relief financial stress. This is another reason why the internet has evolved the car collecting world and why more people are being able to get into the market for a lot cheaper now. Before when you could only visit the dealers or shops to buy classic cars you’d end up paying quite a bit, but when you have motivated sellers on the internet it’s a lot easier to strike a bargain.

You’ll notice that there are quite a few buyers online looking to scoop up all the best classic cars though so if you want to find a bargain then you’ll need to spend countless hours researching the sites looking for the right one. It’s worth the time and savings though and I only buy my cars on the internet now due to the deals that can be found. When there is a bigger market it’s a lot simpler to find cars and with more competition present many sellers feel they need to under price each other causing a monopoly of price deductions which helps the buyer.

Classic cars were once unreachable for the average car enthusiast, but now with modern technology the internet has brought a whole new marketplace to cars and it’s made it available to the average American looking to get into the classic car world. It’s a fast paced world where you can meet tons of new people and go to many great events, which is why so many people choose to collect classic cars. If you’re looking for a hobby then you don’t need to look much further then heading to an online car auction site to begin bidding on a classic car. There are quite affordable and the odd person will want an unbelievable price but you’ll notice that and just avoid bidding on it as nobody else will either, considering there are so many affordable classic cars on the sites.

Nokia’s New Innovation For Cell Phones

18
08

2009
00:00

As Audiovox Cell Phones No Contracts pulls a few rabbits out of the hat in the No Contract Cell Phones industry, Nokia Cell Phones has pulled out a nice promotional strategy to sweeten their already solid deals on smart phones. They have decided that for ten of their cell phones they’re going to give away absolutely free navigation software with it. This navigation software is built into the phone and works without wireless web, thus if no Internet is available navigating a new city or neighborhood is still as simple as ever.

The idea behind it is to give the customers a quality product which has become virtually a prerequisite in this day and age and thus help the mobile sales. That is not to say Nokia Cell Phones is suffering in the market, they aren’t, but why not give the company a lift if it is feasible. And the navigation program which they’re offering isn’t just one that works without wireless Internet but it’s also one that features turn by turn directions, travel guides and even voice prompts.

The move is said to hurt outside companies that make navigation software for phones like iPhone and sell it for more than free. Nevertheless if Nokia Cell Phones can afford to make such a move there is no reason not to. In fact , it is their prerogative. And as consumers we’ve got to like that the competition has gotten so tight that now things we might have payed for anyhow are being given to us for free . But it is’s similarly nice that even if we aren’t able to buy such products we are still getting them.

The smartphone market has really amped up in the last year with many firms understanding what is needed to achieve success in this new landscape and breaking the contest wide open. There’s now no clear cut leader in the bizz rather some companies all becoming more innovative and giving the consumer a plenitude to make a choice from. And again, Nokia Cell Phones as well as many other firms revving up the contest has only made a more delightful market for consumers. Better products, less expensive products, more offers, and there appears no end visible. This writer is just waiting for a free phone and service plan, and then he is going to be ecstatic. Okay, so I am being a bit precocious, but the reader does understand the point that is being made, right? It is a purchasers market and there is no reason to not be content about it.

Cars With Built In Vehicle Tracking

17
08

2009
00:00

Vehicle tracking is widely known now as something that can be bought and then placed inside the car. These vehicle tracking devices make use of a global positioning system (GPS) that can find the location of the device anywhere on the planet. Because these devices make use of satellites, they work anywhere in the world, and can be accessed from any computer if one has the right software and knows the proper codes.

With vehicle tracking devices like Lo/Jack (used by law enforcement) many people protect their cars from theft. But until the advent of the OnStar service, these devices had to be purchased and then put into the car. But now many GM-made vehicles come standard with OnStar built right in, and there is more to this service than just vehicle tracking.

OnStar makes use of vehicle tracking as a sort of safety measure. You have to pay a monthly service, however (many of the dealers that sell cars with this service offer a year free). You can call OnStar on your cell and they can perform a number of services, including unlocking your doors if you lock your keys in. This might actually worry some people, as it is uncomfortable to know that someone can just unlock your car door like that.

But, the main safety advantage is that if you are in an accident and cannot use your phone, the OnStar people can use the vehicle tracking to locate your car and send emergency crews. This can offer peace of mind. But it does not completely erase the privacy questions raised by a service that has almost total access to your car. Some people are not comfortable with this arrangement. Besides, if you sell the car, there goes your device. When you own the device separately, all you need to do is transfer it to the new car.

Luckily, if you want to be able to have vehicle tracking without the creepy privacy violations, it is possible to buy vehicle trackers separately from a variety of reputable online dealers. This can give you true peace of mind, knowing that your car is as protected as you can make it with your very own vehicle tracking.

Palm Cell Phones No Contract Now Includes The New Amazon Kindle

15
08

2009
00:00

Palm Cell Phones No Contract like other No Contract Cell Phones that can be used to browse the net, amplified itself with eBooks. The amazing ebook reader and one of the hottest gifts of the last year, the Amazon Kindle, is expanding and doing what it can to get itself into the smart phone market, with help from BlackBerry Cell Phones. What does this mean exactly? Simply put the revolutionary technology wants to continue trailblazing by making its books and digital titles available in numerous other platforms outside the kindle itself.

The kindle is already huge market success and continues to grow in renown. Since hitting the market there have been many imitations though none have got the praise and fan base the kindle has. And what have we usually learned, imitation is the most sincere sort of flattery. But yes, the Kindle is a big success ; A lightweight device that may simply download eBooks permitting users to hold a library of info on a pill smaller than a laptop. But , as is usually the case with a giant such as Amazon, Amazon is not quite satisfied with the gizmo or rather ; they know they can continue to improve on the machine. There hope is to grow outside the Kindle itself.

Now they are integrating to the smartphone market. Essentially, the books which are licensed to be placed in their library of EBooks will now be available for download on new items, not only the Kindle. The idea is to allow those with smartphones to download books onto their phones if they’re so inclined. The hope is that with their books available on Blackberry cell phones, smart phones, Kindles and other devices, they will increase profits whether or not the actual Kindle devices sell in fewer quantities.

This is a revolutionary idea, making books electronic, and it has just been taken a set further by placing these Ebooks onto Blackberry cell phones and other smartphones. There is no telling what will come next but I know that I am excited to see it. Will Kindles and Blackberry cell phones alike shortly have picture, music and book libraries all stored inside one handheld device? It doesn’t seem too far off and if that is the case our modern world has once again become that much handier. Are we just spoiled, lucky, both or neither? I am still not sure. Either way I am concerned to see the next trick these firms have up their sleeve because lately, it always looks to be a good one. So show me what you got!

How Green Cars Really Are

13
08

2009
00:00

With the issue of global warming taking on international importance in recent years, unsurprisingly the focus has fallen on car drivers, with cars seen as one of the major contributors towards global warming. Green cars have been held up as a potential solution, one that motorists should be embracing.

But are green cars actually ’green’?

Firstly, let’s take pure electric cars. Unfortunately these electric cars are anything but good for the environment. The electricity that they run on is produced in power stations, where only 30-40% of the energy is converted into electricity. Transferring this electricity along electric cables then results in a further 30% being lost to heat energy. So by the time this electricity reaches an electric car a huge amount of the energy has already been lost. Good for cutting down inner city pollution but efficient it certainly isn’t.

Recently hybrid cars have been preferred, cars that contain both an electric motor and a petrol engine. The battery for the motor is powered by the energy generated from braking. When it comes to being ‘green’ these cars in theory offer many more environmental benefits.

In practice this isn’t necessarily the case. Consumer magazine Which? tested four hybrid cars by driving them throughout London. The results were disappointing, as mentioned by George Marshall-Thornhill, senior researcher for Which?, “Some of these should have performed much better.” And this is all without mentioning how to dispose of troublesome electric batteries.

Then there’s the cost of hybrid cars. The Toyota Prius is the most popular hybrid car and can be purchased for around £17,000. However, with fuel economy claims in doubt and 55% of people believing that green cars are too expensive, there is still some way to go before green cars arrive on a large scale.

The facts are that green cars use more energy to produce, are harder to dispose of, their fuel economy claims have been doubted, and they are simply too expensive. The age of the green car has not arrived yet.

More Customers Opting For Alternative Fuel Cars

12

2009
00:00

The prices of gas and fuel have already gone down but it seems like the market has already learned much during that experience. You see, according to dealers and retailers as well as manufacturers of vehicles in the auto market, more and more American customers are purchasing cars and vehicles that run on alternative fuel. The list of alternative fuel vehicles include those hybrid vehicles as well as those that could run on diesel and ethanol.

According to Fred Webber, the current president and chief executive of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, “Our priority is to get the word out that alternative fuel autos are on sale now, and these vehicles are the quickest way to reduce gasoline use. No one wants to see high gas prices and concerns about energy security, but the good news about today’s energy situation is that more Americans are purchasing one of the many fuel efficient automobiles on sale today.” The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers is actually an organization that represents nine of the automakers which sell their products around the globe as well as in the United States.

Sure enough, more and more people are opting to own one unit of these alternative fuel vehicles. One thing is that they would be getting much on savings. Fuel prices may have gone down but the alternative sources of energy for a vehicle to run do cost much, much less. Plus, maintaining them is not that difficult for many replacements parts for these alternative vehicles are readily available in the market along with other parts like Pontiac performance parts. The auto world is now opening up their arms to these alternative fuel vehicles so much so that keeping them in good condition now becomes an easy and economical task.

Webber even further adds, “Every model of auto is available today with some kind of fuel efficient technology, such as variable valve timing, continuously variable transmissions, and cylinder deactivation. We urge all consumers to check out these fuel efficient options on dealers’ lots today.” The list of fuel efficient vehicles in the market includes hybrids like the Honda Insight, the Toyota Prius, the Ford Escape Hybrid, and the Toyota Sienna Hybrid.

Do Water Powered Cars Really Work?

10
08

2009
00:00

Rising fuel prices are a reality. So is the technology for a water powered car. Yes, you read that right. Scientists have developed a device that extracts HHO from ordinary water through a process called electrolysis. Although water will not be the primary fuel used, a water powered car can be a genuine solution to our dependence on expensive oil.

While water fueled cars may sound like something out of a science-fiction book, the principles behind this procedure come out of a high school chemistry book. By passing an electric current through water, the individual atoms of hydrogen and oxygen are removed from the water, creating a compound known as HHO. This is a type of gas commonly known as Brown gas that can be burned cleanly while supplying a stable source of energy.

Once produced, the Brown gas is directed to the airflow that is located in the intake manifold of the car’s engine. After this, it is mixed with the gasoline and both fuels are combusted or burned together, creating the power needed to drive the car. The wonderful part about this invention is the fact that it doesn’t require an overhaul of the car’s engine or a costly setup of equipment. Water powered cars only need a device that is placed under the hood. This device can be removed or replaced without a lot of mechanical skill, which increases the advantages of this invention.

The benefits of water fueled cars are enormous. Although the technology doesn’t exist yet to run a car completely on water, this device can dramatically improve gas mileage. The extraction of HHO from water can easily supplement the current fuel usage and decrease our nation’s dependency on foreign oil sources. An added bonus is the more efficient running of the car’s engine. When burned as an energy source, Brown gas produces water and oxygen as by-products. This makes it a more environmentally friendly fuel, as it doesn’t contribute any harmful substances to the atmosphere and even joins in the fight against global warming with its decreased carbon dioxide emission. Besides the favorable impact on the environment and the obvious financial savings to your gas tank, this type of technology also becomes an IRS deduction.

The next question we should all be asking is “Why isn’t this device installed in every car?” That’s harder to answer than explaining how the extraction process works. For many years, the control of oil equals power. If water powered cars became widely available, the quest for oil would diminish and the key world leaders would be shuffled—possibly to their disadvantage.

The science behind water powered cars has been in existence for about 20 years. Unfortunately, this amazing device hasn’t received the accolades or the attention it deserves. The principles behind powering a car with ordinary water have been proven to be effective, yet, the next step is a wider dissemination of this knowledge, which will result in a much-needed outcry by drivers for the government to fully sponsor such technology. The gas crisis is real but water fueled cars may be the start of a brand new and economical solution.

Intel’s Newest Creation Moblin Makes Browsing Easier

Siemens Cell Phones No Contract gradually promoted its No Contract Cell Phones for the benefit of its users on the computer. The PC chip maker, Intel, is now trying to stake its claim in the 3G Cell Phones / smart phone industry. They are claimed to be making an open source O. S for mobile devices known as Moblin, hoping to branch out of its regular business confines of microprocessors. It is just one of many computer and Internet based firms that is now trying to get in on the smart phone revolution.

Moblin, which stands for Mobile Linux, offers panel-based navigation to browse running programs, widget based social networking applications as well as a Firefox browser. Intel will permit programmers and developers write programs that will work on multiple platforms as well as differing types of computers.

The idea behind the Intel company move is to break into the cellular industry because as 3G Cell Phones become more the standard for accessing the web it becomes imperative that these once top of the line PC and software makers are not left in the dust of more recent inventive companies. This marks a stretch in the sector in which software makers must make the leap, whether they like it or not, into the smart phone industry. Unavoidably this is where the computing industry is heading. Fully, no. Computers and desktops are as preferred and as essential as ever but to think a company can sit back and watch others take charge of the growing 3G cell phone / Smartphones industry is just ludicrous.

This industry is a money maker and a place where corporations can show off innovative creativeness and become quite experimental. But those that don’t get on board soon I fear will never get another opportunity to join in. It’s good to see these firms finally testing the waters, and it’s great for us patrons, more competition between the corporations and likely better products, too.

Yes, it is the innovativeness and the contest between corporations that should make clients most happy. When more companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google and Intel get into the mix the more ideas are shared and the better products are produced. The technology geniuses that are now competing for our business, and the only real way to get that business it make the most appropriate goods available. So permit the invention take over while we simply choose which we like best. I guarantee by the end of the current year we’ll see things on smart phones that we never thought possible . Remember that. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so.

The Grand Canyon National Park In Arizona – A Great Vacation And Travel Destination

You must plan a vacation to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. It is just simply amazing and the maze of canyons, fissures, and gorges intertwine and merge to create one of the world’s most amazing natural wonders. You can actually see the different colors of the rock in the many layers that make up the canyon not to mention the way the sun reflects on them, and then the shadow, affects their color, which is awe inspiring in and of itself. The beauty of the Canyon is one thing, the size is another and it is just as amazing if not more so.

The canyon is huge and that may even be an understatement. The canyon measures between 10 and 15 miles wide and is more than 200 miles long. At some parts of the canyon it measures nearly a mile to the bottom. Can you imagine looking over the edge of the canyon and the ground being a mile below? It truly is one of the must see places in the world, let alone the United States. The Grand Canyon National Park includes the Grand Canyon and other sites and is located north of Flagstaff, Arizona, by about 75 miles. It will take about an hour and a half to get to the north rim’s visitor center from Flagstaff, or if you are in Las Vegas plan on a five hour drive. The south rim’s visitor center requires a 200 mile drive although it is only 10 miles away if you could fly your car over!

The south rim is the best place to visit if you are only visiting one of the rims. That is because the views are outstanding and it has more facilities than the north rim center. More tourists visit the south rim because the north rim is closed from October to May. If you are a backpacker or don’t like crowds then you might prefer the north rim. The Grand Canyon Village is a great place to stay when visiting because there are hotels, souvenir shops, and restaurants near the south rim.

The best thing to do when visiting the Grand Canyon is to allow yourself plenty of time. There is a lot to see and although it might look like you can do it all in one day you may not be able to and really enjoy it. So, give yourself plenty of time when you are at the Grand Canyon so you can see all the rims, head down to the basin, whitewater raft, and just enjoy this beautiful natural wonder.
